Resource Return Rate (RRR)

RRR is the percentage of materials refunded after crafting an item. Each Royal City (Thetford, Fort Sterling, Lymhurst, Bridgewatch, Martlock, Caerleon) provides specific production bonuses (+15% to +20% base, up to 47.9% with focus or higher in Hideouts). Crafting in the wrong city severely hurts your profit.

Crafting Focus & Masteries

With Premium you gain 10,000 focus per day. At level 0 specialization, crafting an item can consume over 8,000 focus. Leveling the item spec and its sibling weapons/armors to 100 reduces the cost below 500 focus, multiplying the number of items you can focus-craft each day by 15x.

Worker Journals

Carrying empty journals in your inventory while crafting fills them automatically at zero extra cost. Full journals can be sold on the market for an extra 10% to 25% profit margin, or sent to laborers on private islands for free refined materials.

Station Fees & Market Taxes

City crafting stations charge a fee per 100 nutrition consumed. In addition, selling on the market applies taxes: 6.5% with Premium (4% setup + 2.5% sales tax) versus 10.5% without Premium (8% + 2.5%). AlbionUtil accurately calculates these deductions.

Studying Items vs. Selling

At any crafting station you can 'Study' crafted items. This destroys the item but awards 275% of the crafting fame. It is the fastest strategy to power-level masteries from Tier 4 to Tier 6 before crafting Tier 7 and Tier 8 for market profit.

Configure the craft, and Advanced Settings

The Item Craft panel is where you configure your crafting run. Enable Premium Account if your subscription is active — it lowers market tax from 10.5% to 6.5%. Toggle Black Market if you plan to sell items there instead. Then set the quantity and the sell price of the finished item. Under Advanced Settings, Station Fee is the charge your crafting station applies per craft, and Extra Costs lets you log any other silver spent during the craft — food buffs and rerolls are the most common examples.

Enter your prices, Materials and Journals

Here you only need to enter prices. The calculator shows the materials and artifacts required to craft one unit, plus the associated journals — just enter the buy price for each. For journals, add the buy price of the empty ones and the sell price of the full ones. The total quantities needed for your complete craft are calculated separately and shown in the Purchase Summary.

Set your Return Rate, and Masteries

The calculator automatically detects the best city for your item and sets the Return Rate — including the daily crafting bonuses, so the value is always accurate whether you use Focus or not. Only change it manually if you craft in a Hideout. Below, enter your Crafting Masteries and enable Use Focus to see exactly how much focus your run will consume based on your levels.
