1. Who We Are

AlbionUtil (albionutil.com) is a fan-made Albion Online crafting calculator. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sandbox Interactive GmbH. The site is operated independently. For questions, contact us at contact@albionutil.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Discord account data: When you sign in with Discord, we receive your Discord username, avatar, and account ID from Discord's OAuth2 service. We do not receive your email address, password, or payment information.
• Saved prices: Item, material, artifact, and journal prices you enter into the calculator are stored in our database and linked to your account.
• Crafting masteries: Specialization, sibling, and Master Crafter levels you configure are stored and linked to your account.
• Planning sessions: Craft plans you create and save are stored and linked to your account.
• Session data: We use server-side sessions (cookies) to keep you logged in between visits.
• Server logs: Standard web server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited, timestamps) are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the calculator service and sync your data across devices.
• To automatically pre-fill prices and settings from your previous sessions.
• To maintain your session so you stay logged in.
• To diagnose errors and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for profiling or targeted advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

• Discord OAuth2: Sign-in is handled by Discord. Their privacy policy governs data collected during authentication: discord.com/privacy.
• Fonts: We load fonts from Bunny Fonts (bunny.net), a privacy-friendly alternative to Google Fonts that does not log user IP addresses.

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

• Session cookie: Required for login and CSRF protection. Expires when your browser session ends or after a configurable timeout.

6. Data Retention

Your account data (prices, masteries, planning sessions) is retained for as long as your account is active. Server logs are deleted after 30 days. If you want your data deleted, contact us at contact@albionutil.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of AlbionUtil after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
